Community Guidelines & Terms

These terms apply when you record, submit, rate, report, or listen to a community pronunciation in LexLevel.

Effective July 23, 2026

1. Your recording

Submit only a recording of your own voice that pronounces the displayed word or phrase. Do not include music, copyrighted recordings, another person's voice, private information, advertising, or unrelated speech.

2. Prohibited content

Do not submit content that is threatening, hateful, discriminatory, sexually explicit, harassing, deceptive, illegal, invasive of privacy, or intended to impersonate another person. Do not manipulate ratings, evade moderation, or repeatedly submit low-quality or unrelated audio.

3. License you grant

You retain ownership of your recording. By submitting it, you grant LexLevel a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, reproduce, process, moderate, and display the recording inside LexLevel for dictionary and language-learning purposes. This license continues until the recording is deleted, subject to reasonable processing and backup delays.

4. Review and featured recordings

Recordings are private until approved by a moderator. A recording may become featured after receiving at least 10 ratings with an average of 4.5 or higher, having no unresolved reports, and passing a second review. Featured status is not permanent or guaranteed. Content may be removed at any time for policy, rights, quality, security, or legal reasons.

5. Reports and enforcement

Users can report content and hide a contributor. We may reject or remove recordings, resolve reports, restrict future submissions, or take other proportionate action. For urgent safety, privacy, or intellectual-property concerns, contact tel0955850213@yahoo.com.tw.

6. Deletion

Use My pronunciation data in the app to delete your source submission and its associated public recording. You may also contact us for deletion assistance. Reports and minimal enforcement records may be retained when reasonably necessary for safety, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or legal compliance.

7. No guarantee

Community recordings reflect individual speakers and may contain pronunciation differences or mistakes. They do not replace the system pronunciation or professional language instruction. Ratings indicate community feedback, not certification.

8. Changes and contact

We may update these terms as the feature or legal requirements change. The effective date identifies the current version. Questions can be sent to tel0955850213@yahoo.com.tw.
